Acacium Group recognised as a Carer Positive Employer
In 2024 we were awarded the Carer Positive Employer Award – Level 1, a recognition that reinforces our commitment to supporting carers in the workplace and aligns closely with our values of Putting people first and Always by your side.
This recognition reflects our continued commitment to building a workplace where people feel supported, valued, and empowered. It also helps reinforce our role as a responsible employer and contributes to the trust others place in us across Scotland.
About the Carer Positive Employer Award
The Carer Positive initiative is managed by Carers Scotland on behalf of the Scottish Government and aims to raise awareness of the challenges faced by working carers. It encourages employers to adopt policies and practices that support carers and highlights the significant business benefits of doing so and is free for employers to participate.
Achieving this award positions us among a select group of employers in Scotland recognised for their commitment to working carers.
Supporting our carers across the Group
Our successful application highlighted our commitment to providing a wide range of support services designed to help carers thrive, both personally and professionally. These initiatives not only promote wellbeing and resilience but also enhance the high-quality service we deliver to our clients and communities.
Our current support includes:
- Wellbeing and family-friendly policies
- Employee Assistance programme
- Mental Health First Aid
- Dedicated carers support
As we continue into 2025, we are committed to extending this success across the UK and internationally. By embedding a culture of support and inclusion, we will continue to position Acacium Group as an Employer of Choice and further our mission to be the leading global healthcare delivery partner.
