Meet our new Diversity & Inclusion, Executive Sponsor Damian Biswell, Digital Transformation Director
Digital Transformation Director, Damian Biswell, is proud to become the Executive Sponsor of Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) for Acacium Group. He will be responsible for leading our D&I strategy and championing our employee networks, ensuring diversity and inclusion is always at the top of the agenda.

Our D&I networks recently collaborated to define what constitutes success and how we organise ourselves to deliver tangible improvements where needed. Crucially, we now have a much better data set to understand D&I across the Group, including capturing how our colleagues feel about D&I.
In 2023, we’ll be dedicating our efforts to where we can have the most impact, making Acacium Group and even better place to work as we undertake our Responsible Business commitments. This is why I’m delighted to announce our partnership with purpose-led careers platform, Diversify, to help us spread the word about Acacium Group’s exciting job opportunities within underrepresented communities.
Upon my appointment of executive sponsor, our CEO, Mike Barnard, explained to me why D&I resonates for him at a personal level. We also explored how it directly affects the commercial consequences of Group performance. As a result, diversity and inclusion is a key theme for our Group strategy – it directly links to our ability to attract and retain talent, as well as our capability to deliver an excellent service to our clients.
