Together with Young Women’s Trust, Acacium Group is supporting young women to fulfil their potential
Acacium Group’s “Women in Technology &Transformation Forum” is an employee-led network on a mission to cultivate a culture where female talent can thrive. The forum brings together women across the Group in a safe space to share lived experiences, learn from one another, generate ideas and deliver inclusion initiatives so that members are set up for success in their careers within Acacium Group and the wider technology sector.
A key initiative for 2023 is to give back, inspiring women to build a career in technology. We’re delighted to partner with charity, Young Women’s Trust on their “Work it Out” service, a free programme to help improve the employability prospects of young women.
Young Women’s Trust is a charitable organisation working to achieve economic justice and equality for the one million young women in England and Wales aged 18 – 30 who are struggling to live on low or no pay.
The charity explores issues faced by young women, including gender-based discrimination and the income gap. Young women are at the centre of the charity’s work, designing, leading and participating on the charity’s activities.
Leveraging specialist expertise as the leading global healthcare staffing provider, Acacium Group is uniquely placed to support the “Work it Out” programme. As a corporate partner, we’ll support young women through mentorship, feedback, advice and CV reviews.
“At Acacium Group, we’re passionate about ensuring we have a diverse and inclusive Technology & Transformation team and celebrating diversity in the wider technology sector. Forging partnerships with organisations like Young Women’s Trust is integral to giving back to our communities whilst promoting our industry to young talent.” Steph Pritchard, Group Delivery Services Director (and founder of our Women in T&T Forum)
“We’re committed to attracting and developing people from all backgrounds so we can represent the communities we serve. With diversity comes an array of experiences which makes our business stronger. I’m committed to leading and championing our D&I agenda on a personal and professional level. We are proud to be a company committed to the human side of the business.” Damian Biswell, Group Transformation Director (and our Diversity and Inclusion Acacium Group Executive Sponsor)
