Acacium Group wins apprenticeship trailblazer award 2024

Driven by our purpose to improve people’s lives, we understand the importance of investing in future talent. That’s why we’re delighted to have been recognised as Paragon Skills Trailblazer Employer of the Year, supporting our apprentices in building rewarding careers in healthcare, social care, and life sciences.

Working in partnership with Paragon Skills, a leading UK-based apprenticeship provider, our apprentices undertake high-quality vocational training through tailored programmes, helping them to realise their career ambitions while supporting our vision to become the leading global healthcare delivery partner.

Acacium Group wholeheartedly supports apprenticeships as key element of workforce development. The dedicated apprenticeships function invests time to support apprentices in making the right decisions for their own development. The learner is truly aware of what the learning journey will look like, which ensures they have ownership of their own learning as well as knowledge of their commitment.

Tracy Howden, Paragon Skills

The judges championed the Group’s strong investment in apprenticeships and excellent ongoing communication with learners and managers. They also noted how the business undertakes regular monitoring of apprentices’ progress, ensuring they get the support they need throughout their journey.

Due to the scale of our apprenticeship programme, we’ve been able to promote training and learning beyond our organisation through apprenticeship levy, gifting nearly three-quarters of a million pounds to health and social care organisations.

Acacium Group gifted Making Space, a national charity that provides specialist care and support services in the local communities and people’s homes, £282,000. This provided funding for 60 qualifications and delivered significant apprenticeship development opportunities for its team.

At Acacium Group, we are deeply committed to investing in apprenticeships, recognising their vital role in fostering career growth and development. Over the years we’ve seen how nurturing talent through these programmes not only enhances individual careers but also elevates the entire business, with many apprentices staying on for long and rewarding careers across the Group. By prioritising these programmes, we aim to build a skilled, motivated workforce that drives innovation and success for our clients and the communities we serve.
